I bought these in early December last year and paid $957 with shipping. They were on a 2015 Forester XT until spring and show no wear. Selling because my XT was totaled (by the dealer believe it or not!) and I did not replace it with another Forester. So, I have no vehicles this set will fit on. I'm assuming if you're a member you'll be able to figure out if these fit your ride but I'm guessing at worst they'd fit any 2014+ Forester. The size is 225/60R17.

These are literally like new. Tire rack reports that new tires generally start with 10/32 of tread. I just measured 5/16 - 6/16 which is the same or better so needless to say they wear quite well and are in great shape.

Price is $700 and I'm posting here for a week before tossing them up on CL. Call 612-865-3226 if interested. Available for pick up in SW Minneapolis on the east side of Lake Harriet.

Hey Dylan. Does this set have TPMS installed?

They do not, but only because it was not possible. Subaru will only allow one set to be synced to a vehical so the only way to do TPMS with winters is the use the stock rims (or same rims) for both winter and summer tires. I did this with my 2011 WRX and had to pay $120 per tire change so $240/season. Bloomington Acura Subaru did the wheel swaps for just $20 so having dedicated wheels saved me $200/year which, if I had had the car for 3-4 years as planned would have pretty much paid for the whole set. Because of the extra expense, the Forester (and my Sienna and Fiesta ST) go without the TPMS in the winter. You'll have a light on the dash but that's it. When you toss the factory tires back on the light goes off.

    Edit: $240/year, not season.

FYI, this is not true. With a tool like this (https://www.amazon.com/ATEQ-QuickSet-TPMS-Reset-Tool/dp/B008SCWXN4/), you can easily swap TPMS codes in the ECU.

Given that you can buy this setup for about $760 (with local pickup) on TireRack, I'd be willing to pick them up for about $400. Thanks!

Where in Mpls or the surrounding area can you pick up locally from TireRack? I actually ordered a new set for my ST today and that was not an option on their website.

As for the TPMS, I was going off of what my dealer told me. So I guess that figures.

Never mind, I found the place in Roseville. Very strange, I put in my zip just today and the site returned no local options. Anyway, you forgot about taxes. The actual price for this package is $816.08 with local pick up.

Update: clajiness pointed out that I paid for shipping on this which drove my initial cost up. Fair point, so for anyone that's interested, here's the new deal. "Buy it now" price is $550. Again, these are like new as far a condition and tread depth go. Buying the same set up with local pick-up from TireRack will run you $816 so you're up $266. That said, I'd like them to be gone by Wednesday at noon so if anyone wants to make an offer over clajiness's $400 you're welcome to. Highest and best by 1/2/16 at noon takes them home. All bids must me $25 higher than the last.

Clajiness: Their yours on Wed if no one else is interested at a higher price.

    Thanks all,

    Dylan

Clarification on the TPMS. Subaru only allows 1 set of sensors to be programmed at a time. You can have multiple sets of wheels with sensors, but will need to have them programmed to the car each time. Discount tire will do this for free if you have them mount the tires. Sometimes just for free.

I just bought a set, otherwise I'd be interested.

However, your original post states that there is only 5/32nd's-6/32nds remaining. On Blizzaks, and many other winter tires, the tread compound changes once you reach ~50% of tread remaining (the blizzaks actually have wear indicators that show when the winter multicell tread is almost gone). Per tire rack, these come new with 12/32nd's. So if you only have 5-6 32nd's remaining....these tires are almost done as "winter tires." I also find it hard to believe that you burned through about 6/32nd's of tread in one winter season, so either you: 1. drive like an a**hat or 2. measured the remaining tread incorrectly.

I'm not trying to crap on your thread, but it is a bit misleading when you say "like new". I felt that others should be informed, and perhaps you need to remeasure and/or post pictures with the tread depth gauge in the tread.

I had to read it twice, but it states "5/16 - 6/16". The measurements should definitely have a common denominator. :) Sorry to reply for you, Dylan, but I happened to be looking at the thread just as TMF posted.

Ha, yeah. TireRack said 32nd's so that's what I quoted but when I measured I was looking at 16th's. Sorry for the confusion.

Newbie, so I'm having a bit of a challenge keeping track. Are they still available? If so, would they fit my 2005 WRX - Saab 9-2x Aero? Mine is 5 x 100, I believe.

    Thanks

Not to speak for OP, but they're no longer available as they're currently on my Forester.

FYI - the Fiesta can use a $4o Ford tool and a song and dance routine.

    http://www.cjponyparts.com/tire-pre...GL3WK1nC4V35hxY3zsa_66tkUWtnQCRIsFBoCLIXw_wcB

    1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then press and release the brake pedal.
    2. Cycle the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position 3 times, ending in the RUN position.
    3. Press and release the brake pedal.
    4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
    5. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position 3 times, ending in the RUN position.
    6. The horn will sound once and the TPMS indicator will flash if the training mode has been entered successfully. If equipped, the message center will display: TRAIN LF TIRE.
    7. The learning sequence is Left Front (LF) tire, then Right Front (RF) tire, then Right Rear (RR) tire, and last the Left Rear (LR) tire. On most 2007-2009 Mustangs, the tire pressure monitor sensor is mounted 180 degrees from the valve stem. Hold the transmitter a few inches away from the sensor and press the button. The red light on the transmitter will illuminate and the horn will honk after each sensor is trained.
