    Hey everyone.

I have a set of 16" (205/55r16) General Altimax Arctic tires for sale for $400.

I used them for one season (last winter), so they only have 1,500 miles on them.

I had planned on reusing them this season, but I upgraded to a 2013 WRX, and apparently the load rating of the General's (91) is too low for a 2013 WRX (94). The difference was only 100lbs between the two load ratings (1300 vs 1400), but Discount Tire wouldn't do it due to an internal policy of theirs.

So yea. That turned into an expensive trip today, having to impulse buy Blizzacks because there was no way I was leaving that place with my summer tires still on.

I know these will fit on a 2007–2011 Impreza 2.5i (and possibly many others). I originally had them on a 2008 2.5i.

    So much tread!

When they're on a vehicle, they look like flippin monster truck tires.

Shoot me a PM. I'll keep an eye on my inbox.

I'm also posting to craigslist, so get them while they're still here.

GLWS, Discount told me the same thing with my summer tires(they were already on the wheel) but I still ran them and had no issues. Idk if the softer sidewall for the winters will make a difference but there is a shop in uptown (honest one auto) that put mine on for $50. I dont have tpms though. Give the manager a call and see if they will still honor the $50.. thats if you still want to run them. If not, they are a fantastic tire that someone should pick up!!!

Well, it looks like I didn't do proper research before posting. I originally bought them for $120/ea @ Discount Tire last year, but apparently they're now selling for $107 (and $91 + shipping on TireRack).

I'm dropping the price down to $340 for the set to put it more in line with market value. First post has been updated.

Bummed I have to eat so much of the cost to get rid of them. boo.
