Hi, my name is Andy. I officially dont live in MN, but its right across the bridge here in Superior.I just bought my first Subaru and was pointed in this direction. What I have is a 93 Legacy wagon sport. Overall its in decent shape, body has rust and holes, interior is in much better shape. No pics as of yet. This is, or was to be my winter beater but it needs some attention. Im going to have a ton of questions and might need a part or two or 87.

Summer car is my CRX and I wanted it in the garage a month ago but, eh.

My goal is to get the Legacy up for a winter beating and once the snow clears get it in the garage for some in depth tlc. As it stands I need to fix the exahaust as its missing the cats ($50), windshield is spiderwebed on the passenger side (already sourced a new one), passenger side lower ball joint needs to be replaced ($25) and new oil pan , or at least one thats not smashed in(still looking). Ran Diagnostic (black connectors) and got 2 codes, 35 and 45. I tried erasing the codes as well to verify the codes are current. Epic fail. Still havnt ran D-check or whatever its called and havnt tried connecting black connectors as well as green to remove codes so I have that to look forward to. Not sure when I will get to it as Im sicker then a dog at the moment. Other then that everything looks ok. Couple other things Im not to concerned about at the moment are rear wiper and power mirrors dont work.

Im looking forward to a snowy winter!

i have a muffler from a 2.2 leg wagon you can have, also the rest of the piping header back with the cats is yours if you want. the piping is from a 2.5 gt so it might flow better.

Thanks! Im not sure yet if Im going to be able to salvage the exhaust as its pretty rusty. I noticed where the cats were cut out since the bolts were rusted so bad they wont come out. Worst case I was gona take it to an exhaust shop in Duluth and just get a piece of straight pipe welded in. Is the piping a direct fit? The gts are N/A right, not forced induction.

Another guy, Fondune on this board, lived in superior. Not sure if he still does though.
Also, we have this great stuff for removing unwanted stickers. Goo gone is more hassle than it's worth, trust me. We also have plastic razor things for scraping them off, if you were going to come down sometime to FS I'd be more than willing to bring these things to help scrape it all off.

Welcome to the board! There are a few people in Duluth and the northern part of the state that have the older Subarus and would be very willing to help you out with any questions or work you need done. Don't hesitate to ask, and if you have questions about how this place is run, PM me or any of the other mods and we'll set you on the right path ;)
