Hey everyone. Welcome to the office pool, gather around the water cooler and let's discuss this The rules: $1.00 for each square on the matrix, including the 'after 2 weeks' boxes. You may buy as many squares as you want $5.00 for the specific failures boxes To enter your name in a box... First check the board, names will be added every 10 posts. Then check the last 10 posts to see if your box is still free. Please, refrain from spamming here, just post your name, and what boxes you want to purchase. First person to claim a box in this thread gets it. DO NOT PAYPAL ANY MONEY UNTIL YOU HAVE VERIFIED THAT THE BOX YOU HAVE CHOSEN IS YOURS. Remember, Paypal charges a fee, so you wont be getting a full dollar back if you need a refund. So you may as well just donate it to the club The board is below. Paypal your $1.00 per box to [email protected]. You can trust me. I've been here forever, everyone knows me, I'm not going to run off with a hundred or whatever dollars. If you want, I can even PM you my address so you can come kick my ass or whatever if you think I've ripped anyone off. I keep records on this, so don't think I'm scamming here. Also, as I am running this pool, I will not be participating in it. I want everyone else to have a fair chance here. Good luck and have fun!
Gotcha, I'm keeping track of this on an Excel document, so that is why i'm going to wait till 10 plays have been made before I update the board.
Every MNSubaru member is eligible. So yes. You may make your bet. But you have to make your bet right now. Since you could likely call David and get a date from him.
I know the date, but i will not tell anyone By the way i will bring some documents like alignment specs and stuff to prove that the alignment is all good. By the way, very creative idea.
Yeah, post some the problems that you predict will happened this makes it more interesting. btw, does LR mean left rear?
Just so you all know. Paypal takes 33 cents from the dollar No biggie, you will still win money. In case you were concerned about this, I can post a screenshot of my Paypal account.
Nope, that is your problem. To the winner goes the spoils. Anyway, enough blathering....from here on keep the posts related to your bets only. Suggestions and such can be directed to me via PM.
they take 33 cents from every dollar? so there take is 33%?? it was my understanding that it was 3.3%. so 3.3 cents from every dollar....
Right, but I think under a certain amount they take more. Here let me go grab a screen shot. *EDIT* screenie attached
I know you wanted all future posts to be bet related, but do you really want your first and last name out there like that in your screen shot?
Everyone here knows his name, and so does anyone who visits Grimmspeed.com's project cars area. But you're right fondune ...
Yeah, I'm not too worried. Pretty much everyone on this site knows me in person and knows my first and last name. Not too concerned.
I'll take the "no delivery until after June 6th, and a $5 buy in on an electrical problem! Do I owe you $5 or $6 for my wager?
Will suspension issues cover alignment and such? If so, I'll take that and body work/ paint as well. What's my total?
Brian, Phi11 beat you to the body work one, but I'll give you the suspension...yes that covers alignment
What about spark? I'm thinking in a week after he gets the thing, there will be a thread about the car not starting...guessing it will be possibly plug/coil/starter...something along those lines. CEL's up the a**!
If it's the plugs, that's engine. For coil/starter I'm going to call electrical. Since plug fouling or improper plug torquing would be related to engine assembly, but bad coilpacks or improperly seated connectors on either the packs or the starter would be considered electrical problems. If he doesn't bolt the starter in properly, that's mechanical and thusly engine related.
Just want to let you all know, the the engine has not been touched and is working fine. It was not hurt in the accident. Just needs a new radiator.
and it could have been running while at a 45 degree angle for god knows how long while it was in a ditch.
Depending on how things go for Taras, it would almost be possible to bet on whether he tries to return it, and an additional wager would be on if David accepted it back. Then you could bet on how long it would take Taras to get his money back.
