well, im just so mad right now i can't sleep..i'll spill the beans...

i was by myself, comming home from a friend's house. 11:30sh at night. I was comming up the clover ramp on 36 about to go onto 35E south. that was when something crossed the road, i didnt catch it, my eyes were pointing the other way to look for on comming cars, as soon as i turn i saw a glimpse of something, i swurved to try and dodge it, was gonna hit the brake but accidently hit the gas and the rear end came around, lost control, spun out, i safely stopped, but an on comming car went head to head with me and that's how it happened. I walked away with only a scratch on my finger from the air bag deploying. Kinda having some aches now so will head to the hospital if it gets worst. but my car is ****ed, the whole front is damage.

 

atleast you are safe. be thankful you were in a subie, things could have been alot worse.

gotta think about it like this. what happened; happened it cant be changed. you are still here and thats the important part. the car can be replaced, you cant.

yeah i know, i just still can't believe i lost it. I loved the car so much. And am very thankful for how well it held up for me. The impact was a 60mph+ head on collision. I was able to walk away from it with only one scratch on my finger. all i can say is F******

dude... i'm so sorry to hear your lost. let's get insurance on the same level and start over again. there's one thing i've learned from losing my beloved civic and it's to not sulk in the lost, but to raise from it and find new glory in tomorrow.

 

Sorry about your car dude. It's a good thing that you're ok and bags did their job. Cars can be replaced, you can't. Either buy it back from insurance company dirt cheap and fix it, or move on to a new project.

 

everyone is ok as far i think....the person that hit me did walk out of his car too..so im guessing he's alright. Im trying not to soak in my past....its a mistake that wont' be forgotten.....jsut getting back flashes of the accident over and over again i can't go to sleep.

yeah really. the vultures are fast on the scene. i wonder how much they will charge for you to buy back your car from them.

i feel bad for calling dibs on stuff since this just happened but if i dont the thing i am looking for might disappear. so i am looking for a trunk lid, and maybe a 5spd, pedal box, line and other dealies. but prolly not. i bet Fuji already has it out of the car already. also maybe a passenger seat, and rear suspension

 

Usually buyback is really cheap. Once it goes to auction if you do not buy it back, prices get very inflated. Yes, the vultures are here! We must salvage everything possible for our subys to live on!

Damn lue i think i might of miss this thread....but im glad you walk away safely...i feel you man i walk away from 3 car accident and all of them were totaled...all i gotta say is the lord works in many mysterious ways...but i wish you would of had your car longer so we can go cruising or something...btw any pics maybe we can help bring it back to life or maybe a start of a new project....

 

i havent' gotten the car back yet, i will take pics when i get it back. still waiting on insurance to call.
