Take a look at http://www.wrc.com when you get a chance, video highlights there are free this year. A nice move for all of us USA fans who get zero coverage. :(

Rally Sweden spoiler (in progress), highlight text below...
Check out Loeb's roll! I guess he is human after all..

"In rallying, pacenotes are a commonly used method of accurately describing the route to be driven in extreme detail. As well as dictating the general route to be taken, in terms of turnings, junctions, etc, all notable features of the route which might affect the way it is driven at speed are included. These details include the distance between each feature, the degree and severity of bends, adverse camber, crests and Hill jumpings, surface type and conditions, potholes, special instructions to the driver, etc." - WIKI

Bit Torrent is your friend. I just watched the EuroSport coverage for the Monte Carlo rally on the 42" HD TV in my hotel room this week. Downloaded it within a couple of hours of the show being aired in Europe. I'm actually going to be canceling my Speed Channel subscription this month, 'cos I'm tired of auctions and Nascar driver reality shows.

so i can see what the pace notes are but does the driver really realize what he is saying while concentrating on the road? says extreme detail so it must be harder.. shows how much skill is needed to rally

Rally drivers seem to have superhuman driving skills. They also have balls of steel to drive that fast on roads they may have never driven on before. Pace notes or not that is crazy.

All 3 days of the Swedish rally are now available. If you already know the result, do not post it here as a spoiler for those of who haven't had a chance to watch it yet.
