no, and probably not...you don't need a serious clutch, just stock or similar ...exedy has their organics for like around 300/400.thats all you need unless you are gonna run crazy powa and an upgraded gear box

^^^^^ what he said. I bought an excedy stage 1 clutch for my wrx a few months back on ebay (320 shipped) and it's running perfectly fine. My tranny has like 114,000 miles on it and the clutch was replaced at about 106,000, still running strong if that helps

Yup, +1 for the Exedy Stage1 organic clutch. If Tim12232 was still around, he could tell you how great it felt to have a new clutch in there. And I believe the Exedy stg1 is very similar to the OEM clutch, as they are also made by Exedy.

Also, the last thing you want is more clamping power for a stock transmission. The tranny is barely capable of handling stock output power from an EJ20 on the stock clutch, you want it to slip a little bit.

yeah like the mix said, im going to be at 300whp very soon and I will be putting in a stage1 exedy most likely. I can't afford a new gear set currently and i dont want to break mine-so I can live with a little slippage:biggrin:
