    my initial reason to buy this dvd was because my buddy told me there was a wrx in it. I hadn't seen it before that... haha.

    From what I read...they don't use em anymore, and they were for the "street race prevention squad" or something... I could be wrong. Still looks cool though.

    No, they don't. It was on Nasioc a while back and it turned out to be a staged photoshoot. The owner of the STi dressed it up as a Colorado state patrol "Street Racing Enforcement" or something like that. All U.S. Police vehicles are made by US Auto makers.

    No, all the pictures were staged. I think the CHP used the pics as promotional pictures.

    I dunno how many of you were around for the OFPR RallyFest in 2003, but the local PD up there (Corcoran, I believe) had a WRX police cruiser there. It was promotional of course, a WRX with the enforcement graphics and a lightbar, but it was in fact, driven by real cops.

    Traffic police in Singapore use a wrx. I never ended up taking pictures but it was out of place to say the least in Singapore haha

    If you were a cop that got to drive an STI as a part of "street racing prevention squad"- how would you resist the urge to race against the cars you were supposed to be pulling over? I mean you're a police officer; you can't get in trouble for going fast in your car....
