    hey guys,

this will be of interest to those especially looking to do a ej20 swap into their car. this is virtually everything you would need to swap a wrx drivetrain into a subaru of your choice.

    comes with:
complete EJ20 longblock w/ less than 35k miles, ecu, turbo, uppipe, intercooler, complete engine/car wiring harness, transmission, shiftlinkage, transmission mount....etc:)

what you would need to finish is basically just a wrx rear diff and someone to do the swap.:)

this is a sweet option for those thinking of aftermarket turbo on their GC as well, it costs less than a turbo kit and you get factory reliability when you are done.

    here are pics:D
    [IMG]

these drivetrains are 3,000 shipped which is a SWEET deal considering they are basically a complete drivetrain ready to drop into your car.

the reason it is shipped is because these are currently out of state at my supply warehouse.

these carry a 90 day warranty if the drivetrain is installed by a reputable shop.

post here if interested or you can email me or hit me up on AIM with more questions.

i can get other engines and trannies but not parts at the moment.

also edited original post, all these packages do come with ecu's but some do not have full body harnesses.

well, to put it in your auto, you would need a manual pedal assembly, clutch slave and master cylinder, manual starter motor, shifter trim, shift knob manual crossmember.

few other misc things but thats the majority. you would already have the clutch/flywheel pressureplate assembly and shift knob with the drivetrain setup.

you know you want it :)

chong, looks like i can only get usdm spec drivetrains, and STi ones are harder to come by, so i cant just get shortblocks individually or different version STi components.

    sorry.

so who wants to make their non wrx vehicle fast?:)

John You really should look at doing a manuel it will be alote easier to do. There are different harnesses and ecu's for autos. All the parts will be easy to get.

How hard will it be? ALOTE OF WORK!!

As for the price: The first one I will do it cheap since I cant realy bill for the full amount of time for it. I would say the first one will get the deal 1000.00 to 1500.00 depending on the time. After that I will raise the price to a fair number for the time I invest.

very easy to locate parts especially on car-part.com, otherwise you just have to do a little local junkyard searching to find them. i got my pedal assembly from car-part and the shift trim as well.

i would recommend the manual also, if not just for the pure fun factor, just make sure you drive smart;)

anyone who has seen matt do work, knows he is meticulous and does everything correctly. i would def have him do a swap on my car if i was unable to do it myself.

I'm definitely interested as well. It wouldn't be for a few months because I need to catch up on bills, but I'm going to start saving up for one ASAP.

i am starting to save up. what are the chances that you could get a 2.5 sti ver 8 with the 6spd tranny? (if possible) what would that cost? how much longer will you be able to get these for? will they still be available in the spring?

There is no such thing as a 2.5L ver 8

    Ver 8 is a 2.0l JDM

    2.5L is a USDM V1 STI

sorry i cant get true "jdm" setups, at this point for subarus i can get the USDM EJ20's and EZ30 H6's, but no sti engines yet, maybe by spring, but its doubtful since those get snatched up so quickly.

    thanks
