    Tony,

Looks like U made it. If you need help you should come out to Firestone on Friday and Saturaday nights, there is alot of nice people there that can help.

Did Yoom sell you his car, it looks really familar? Glad you got the VF22, I've been look for someone who has one so that I could get an idea how it performs.

yes i got it from yoom. car is running like an ass. Heres the story. After i bought the car I had rs motors put in my sti injectors and downpipe. when i got it back, me and yoom couldnt figure out why i couldnt boost over 10 psi. then i tried loading new maps and what not then i noticed that the rubber hose from the air filter to turbo inlet has been torn and probably was affecting the cars running performance not being able to boost higher than 10 psi, not enough fuel nor air. i ordered the new part and now i am stuck on gettin the old one out. anyone that knows how to work on wrx's and owns one themself (for insurance hehe) i am willing to pay them to help me do this and to get my car run right. I have been on the phone day in day out with a guy named Kobi in SC and hes been trying to help me figure out whats wrong with my utec. PLEASE HELP!

    Thanks for the space.

Torn turbo inlet hose? Ugh...intake mani will have to come off I think. I'd also check the hoses on the turbo. One of them has a restrictor in it, this hose needs to be between the turbo compressor nipple and the T. If it's on the wastegate side you'd only get about 10 lbs of boost.

[IMG] OK the big hole on the top right of the perrin hose, what does that go to? because on my stock hose it went to the stock BOV??? So what do I do with this if I have the HKS SSQ BOV? Also, the car was boostin 15 psi fine before I had Propulshun put in my new STi injectors, so i think the inlet hose got torn and is affecting everything. Could this be? Anyways, I ordered the Perrin one and they claim you dont have to take off the manifold. Thanks for the space.

You would need to plug that hole.

You dont need to pull the Plentum/runner to install the the new one but to pull the old one it is a pain w/o pulling it.

If you are only boosting 10psi, there is something else wrong. I think Joel has it right, and the hose that goes from the pressure nipple on the turbo to the wastegate is backwards. I would guess that there is a 10psi spring in the wastegate. Check those little hoses on the turbo. Also make sure that the factory boost controller and the abc (part of the utec) is also hooked up. The inlet hose is before the turbo, so you still should be able to hold boost. If anything, you should be getting a cel, or the engine should be shutting down (like if you pull the maf out).

first step is to stop letting propulshun work on your car LOL, sorry that sucks man, but seriously i dont think they know subarus.

Russ or Matt can def help you out with what you need, or if you need something installed go to Todd, we all trust him and he knows subarus.

Any shop that contrives a way of ripping the turbo inlet hose while installing injectors will NEVER touch my car. It just isn't that hard of a job.

Can you bring your car back to them to have them re-check their work? I would think so being they are in the market for customer satisfaction. A good vendor would bend backwards to make their customers happy, and that's what their goal is.

Getting good customer satisfaction starts with getting the job done right the first time.

well i mean im friends with yoom the owner of propulshun and i always get hooked up with parts (helix dp and sti injectors for free*prior to install*) but its the install garage that they work with, RS Motors. I havent had the chance to bring it to them because the car doesnt even run, I also wanted to learn how to do lil things myself, but of course with the help of fellow MN Subuie owners.
