just a FYI, legacy's are either 95-99 or 00+. Are you going to run wrx struts on your stock springs? my advice is to run the full wrx suspension which i know it'll fit (wrx 02-03) because that's my current set up for winter. there's alot of answers to your question at sl-i.net/FORUM or nasioc.com under legacy forurm near bottom or page

Its not for me I have a 05 STi, its for a friend who just got his Legacy running and wants to lower it a little and make it more aggresive looking. I heard thAT putting in WRX suspension on a legacy will lower it 3 inches. The article made it sounf like only the shocks/ or struts were needed. What do you know about that.

3 inches????whoa not to flame but it's not a honda lolz....if he wants a 3 inch drop, tell him to cut his springs. the most i seen dropped and looked half decent was about 2 inches and that was low. ALTHOUGH putting on wrx suspension WILL lower the car. i heard about 1/2 inch to 1 inch. i really couldn't tell a difference. BEST bet would be to find local the whole assembly. i've seen prices vary for 75-150 for all four struts/springs/tophats.
