My friend's '02 wagon was stolen and then crashed into something at high speed last night. Ouch. Another friend of mine (bikerwriter) had his Yamaha FZR1000 stolen at Iowa State once. They found it badly wrecked in some residential area in Des Moines, but the dude managed to run off.
HOLY CRAP.... that sucks... hope the person hurt themselves real bad... I dont wish harm on most people but lowlifes like this need it..
She said they had to cut someone out of the passenger's side. The passenger's A-pillar does kinda look like its been chopped it two in that lower photo.
people who steal others things instead of working to get their own deserve that. My Si was stolen 6 months ago and has never been found.
Sorry but im Anit-Theft...lol...i hope for those people to die in the process of stealing other peoples pride and joy...
yeah that sucks. If someone stole my car, I would hope that it would end something like this. Not knowing how hard they beat on my car would make me want to just get the insurance money from it. And the ability to press some charges would be awesome.
Sometimes people have to learn the hard way. No body likes a thief, and the lastest example is all over the news. Kid gets shot for breaking into someones garage and the owner grabbed a gun and pulled the trigger. Sad.
How can you feel bad for someone like that? They knew what the consequences could be.... and decided to break in anyways.
this is terrible, just terrible, so sorry for your friend but it sounds like they will find the guys who did this(or whats left of them)
Damn, that's my old neighborhood (and pretty close to where I am now). Never worried about my (identical to that one) wagon around there, my kid often would get ahold of the car keyfob and unlock/disable the alarm too. Crime is pretty rare around there. Bad luck. Though right around the lake, especially parked near the bandshell, might be more tempting to a thief (since they could assume the owner would be gone for a while).
