    tldr; rant:mad:
I'm lucky enough to have off-street parking, there are 3 Clear as crystals signs posted around the back lot that say, Tenant parking only all others will be towed at owner's expense.
9:30pm there are 5 unknown cars back there.. out of the 10 Legal parking spots total (someone is illegally parked and there are 11 cars back there). Called up the landlord, he down plays it and assures me that they'll leave eventually...

After telling my landlord to take down the signs posted about tenant only, he tries to get off the phone and says he'll let me know.
Grr... I wanted to drag them out myself after the phone call with him, but fear of lawsuits and damage to my own vehicle I come on here to rant :banghead:

Best part is one of these winners has a parking lot pass for the college campus (for on-campus living), you Clearly don't live here and Clearly are not a tenant gtfo my parking lot... This is the third weekend now I have been unable to park where I, as a paying tenant, am privileged to. Anyone recommend legal alternatives to sorting this out through my landlord? I've confronted NUMEROUS ones about parking back there with great success. Being a hooded stranger in a dark alley with a loud exhaust yelling at them for not being able to read works beautifully, but new cars always appear, and I can't sit out in my car all night and wait for everyone to roll out. :dunno:

Figure out who thier towing company is and call them.
Tow drivers get paid per tow ;)
Also, if parking is mentioned in your lease and you're promised a spot, genetly remind the landlord he's breaking your lease.

Gimme $50, a couple shots of Patron, a bat and a hersheys almond bar, not regular hersheys, and you've got yourself a maniac who'll bash their cars.

But seriously, that's pretty messed up about the landlord...

Start taking the all valve cores out of the valve stems of the regularly offending cars. No permanent damage and you could even leave them in an envelope under the wipers with a note with regards to "these parking spots are for paying tenants, you felt the need to inconvenience us by taking our spots. Now it is our turn to inconvenience you....."

    1. Just call any random towing company and say youre a land lord and your current company is out of business.. tell them there are cars parked in the lot and have em towed.

    2. Slash their tires. Leave a note on the windshield saying, Next time you wont be so lucky to park in the "Tenents only lot!"

My roomate has the same issue ALL the time! I park in the garage, so I'm not affected by it at all.

But pretty much every single day he comes in ranting about how there are no spots and none of the cars in the spots next to our end of the building have parking permits in them.

And to add some icing to the top, it CLEARLY states that there will be; "No non-operating, non-registered/unliscensed vehicles are to be parked on premises" in our lease agreement. But there are four cars parked near our end of the building that haven't moved in 3-4 months!? And one of them has no plates! Wtf?

thats messed up! call any tow company and tell them that their are fish to fry in your lot. they will come...take the unwanted cars out and it wont be on you. or.... get a buddy with a truck to move them into the street where they will get towed for sure
