ok so i'm having problems and the general idea is i need to replace my knock sensor...anyone have one?
I have an aftermarket sensor, but my OEM knocksensor still wired and grounded to a useless location (purely for the ECU to see a complete circuit). Guess i'm wondering why do you think it's broken? I would probably need to trade ours, so thats why i'm asking.
well the idea is mine took a giant steaming dump and is causing my ecu to pull tons of timing and the car runs terrible. so i don't think you'd want mine
I've got a brand new one just sitting around that I bought on the advice that it would work on my ver5 ej207, apparently the connector is different. I already had it out of the bag and couldn't return it. It was pretty spendy too, like 90 something bucks? You can have it for like 50 if you want, I've no use for it now.
i'll let you know...the problem disappeared so i'm waiting to see what makes it come back...if it does
