Preferably OEM pads, but if you have some other aftermarkets for cheap I'd consider those. Need these before Friday. Otherwise I'll hit up the parts dept. Thanks
I think the cheaper ones from local auto parts are about $35. I got my Ceramics from Checkers for $65. Forgot what brand but it starts with a "H". Works pretty nice with my slotted/drilled rotors.
The thing I don't like about some cheaper auto parts chain sets are that they sometimes do not come with new shims and brackets, and the old ones are usually pretty f'd up.
The OEM ones from the parts dept should come with all the hardware pieces right? Only cars I've changed pads on were older chevys and olds...lol I think I'm gonna take off work now and change these bastards...the scraping is driving me mad. And I got a CEL on my way back from lunch. Be on the lookout for another thread lol.
The OEM ones (at least for my RS) come with all the parts, except maybe lube (iirc). And if your scraping - unless it's still just the wear indicator - you may need rotors, too, I would think.
