WTB: 04 WRX coupe rear diferential

    Hey guys if anyone has a working rear diff for the 04 WRX I'm looking to pick one up. I've checked with the junckyards I am familure with but haven't been able to find one. If you got one or know of one could you let me know?

    Didn't know they made a WRX coupe in MY04 ;)

    oops lol my bad hopefully, I was taking to a fellow member who said that the wagon and sedan diff was different I haven't fond anything else yet that confirms that but i'm assuming that it is true, the post on nasioc doesn't mention if it is from a wagon or sedan but their profile description mentions a wagon, i'm hopping that they have a diff from a sedan though lol that way i don't have to worry about it. On the plus side though they are from St. Paul so that would be awesome if we could work something to and save the shipping charge

    He's telling me that the diff is interchangeable. Is that true?

    What matters is your final gear ratio,
    It has nothing to do with SEDAN vs wagon.

    ok so could anyone confirm that a rear diff from an 04 wrx SEDAN is the same ratio as the rear diff from an 04 wrx wagon?

    Like phi11 said what matters is auto or manual for the final drive ration

    The VIN plate should say what transmission you have,
    Then you can find out what your final ratio is.

    Doesn't matter sedan vs. Wagon...matters auto vs manual

    Auto is 4.11
    Manual is 3.54
