I am looking to but a Aftermarket exhaust for my 98 legacy wagon. I have searched Ebay and I cant seem to find one that isn't a dual exhaust. If somebody has information about another model that works with this car I would love to hear it, if you have one to sell lets make a deal. Looking at 2.5 to 3 inch catback that I can just throw on with out any mods that would be great.

    Thanks Dan

buy this! favorite thing i've done to my 97 L. I had the muffler shop weld on a wrx axleback for $60. great sound and quite a bit more pick up.

obviously with mild steel, you need to layer on a VHT ceramic coating to prevent it from rusting away. great fitment though. took 30 minutes to install.

is your Legacy an L or outback? the 2.5 outbacks have a dual port off the head. 2.2 Ls have the single port.

also, search around for a lightweight crank pulley for that thing. that, plus the exhaust work, has really brought my legacy back to life. it's actually fun to drive now with the quick throttle response and added power.

Yeah, I just got word the old lady whom owned it before the guy I bought it from put in a aftermarket radio (Sony) while they were installing it they broke the dash and replaced it. They never did anything with the title or had to so ya I could have it removed and not worry about it..
