as title states, I am looking for a 2001 or older impreza. Prefer 4 door, but will consider 2 door. no wagons. It must be fairly rust free (mainly underbody, some body panel rust ok). Don't care about the rest of it (can have blown tranny, motor, broken suspension, destroyed interior, etc. - just need a good solid chassis/frame). the cheaper the better.
I'm thinking of selling my 2.5 RS coupe, rod knock killed the engine a few weeks ago and I've been leaning toward a bugeye to put that ej205 in

There was one on mnsportcompact for $1500. Can't remember if it was 2 or 4 doors. I'll have a look and post a link if your a member. If not it might be worth joining as they have some suby stuff on their from time to time. If you go for it I'll buy / swap the hood on it it was carbon fiber.

IS this going to be a rally car project? i know of a few clean rolling shells, 1 is already caged. 4 door.
