A friend of mine with a '02 WRX spun a bearing, haven't yet removed/torn apart the engine to figure out what's up with it. Currently looking for a used engine...otherwise, it's time for an overhaul.
I have an EJ20 for sale. 60k miles on it. Worked just fine when it came out. looking for 400 for the shortblock.
Its probably going to be a lot easier to find an ej205 shortblock than the whole thing, and with the spun bearing thats all you should need anyways. As long as you're rebuilding you can upgrade to forged pistons new hone to ensure it will last for a long time

mhmm, yeah i will see what i can scrumage up cash wise, i get to go to tonka courthouse to fight two tickets tonight, then pay off some of the impreza, but you will know for sure
