    WTB: 2x TD04 (13T)

I need two Mitsubishi 13T's from the WRX. Let me know what you have, condition, approximate mileage and price. I have a line on one, but it would have to be shipped. I'd like to pick a couple up local, if possible.

Yup. They were 19T's, based on WRX 13T's. So this is the cheap way to get going again.

I did see it blow or at least the smoke cloud and you were parked in front of me in the staging area before the fatal run. I glad it was something easily repairable and nothing major - relatively at least. I thought at first someone caught fire.

Yup, the 13T is in the TD04 family. There are tons of variations though. The center cartidges are simlar, just the threads and locations they tap are diffrent. The WRX turbo uses a TD04L turbine wheel, which is why 3000GT guys have to have our exhaust housings machined, ours are TD04 stock. If it's weren't for that, they would swap right in. There are a few other wheels as well. TD04, TD04H, TD04HL, TE04 and more.

I'll hit NASIOC if I can't find anything local. No body around here upgrades?

So it was turbo failure. I was the bald asian guy. You may have better luck if you changed the title to "WTB: 2x TD04's"

Also, if you want to keep the exhaust housing your more than welcome to it. It's scrap metal to me.

At 19K, it should be in great shape, unless you have inadvertently fed it something. Water cooled Mitsu turbos last 100K+. When you get it off, let me know what you want for it.

Interesting you guys call them just TD04. To me that's like saying Garret T3. It's the frame size of the turbo, doesn't say much. But I suppose since it's probably the only mitsu turbo used on a Subaru, it works for you guys.
