I need a forester tranny or another 5speed 4:11 geared transmission I chipped a tooth off of second gear tranny must be in full working order!!!!! The less miles the better!!!!! This is my daily driver need it asap please!!! I'm new to subies and don't know where to look any help would be awesome!! Thanks.
Too bad, mine is 3 90 geared...if you find a different rear diff, it would work. I have a diff from a 00 outback, but its 4.44 viscous.

I have a 5 speed from a JDM Legacy, pretty sure it has a 4.11:1 diff and a 1:1. It's the old style engine mounting pattern and probably wouldn't work for you, but if you get desperate it's here. The code is 85-ty752vbaaa
I would think the rear diffs would be everywhere...and they are fairly easy to change. I bought a good one here from a member awhile ago from a wrx and I think I paid $100. I would sell you my 5 spd with a decent clutch for $450.

impreza 2.5rs tranny i have. its a 2000 2.5rs with 4.11final drive. rebuilt 5000 miles ago by sisu automotive in monticello. new center diff and tail section. no grinds or chipped teeth and shifted smooth. engine spun rod bearing from lack of oil and car is parked now. 900 and its yours. center diff alone was almost 600 from subaru. pm me if you want me to pull it out tonight
