I'm thinking of doing a 6 speed swap and need a couple things that I haven't been able to locate just yet.
    Things I'll need are:
-driveshaft from 04-07 sti (I've heard auto trans driveshafts are the same, if anyone knows for sure please feel free to chime in)
    -04-07 sti shift linkage
    -clutch
Please let me know what you have and what you want for it.. Or if you know of other parts that will work (as in other years)

You need clutch slave cylinder, clutch fork, and sti flywheel to go with the clutch. Also STi tranny mount.
I have a slightly used exedy OEM replacement clutch with pressure plate from my swap but no flywheel. Also have the tranny mount.
You will need a different rear diff too. Your R160 is a 3.7 FD so either get an matching R180 to your 6 speed (ends up very expensive because you need to swap axles/hubs/knuckles/brembos/wheels etc) or get an R160 with the right FD to match the year of transmission you get.
I think if you go with the R160 you still need to swap the flange so the driveshaft bolts up.
Also the axles you will need depends on the year of transmission you get. Your axles all have the male spline shaft that goes into the diff and trans, the older models had axles stubs coming out of the diff/tranny so you need female axles.
It ends up pretty expensive for 06/07 WRX because our final drive ratio is weird. Also the spline count going into the CV joints in the axles is not the same as other years so you can't even make custom hybrid axles.

I know the auto drive shaft is the correct length, but the spline on the trans may be different. I had to swap front yokes on the drive shaft I did.

I went with DSS axles. Go with the R180 diff, you might as well spend the extra. I did the swap myself. Pretty straight forward. Just depends on what year you go with. That will help you know what axles you will need for the front. I did not spend the $ on the sti spindles and crap. No real need for me to go through that.

There's no need for anyone to go through that.
I went with an 08, so I need the vss pro and all that fancy stuff. I don't really want to spend all that money on axles and an r180 yet so I'm going to go with the r160 for now because the 3.54 is readily available and will make for an easier swap for the time being.
