apparently when you trans hits 276,000 it can start to give you trouble. i think i am going to need to replace it soon (next 3-4 months). i would like to find a good used one with less miles than the one i have now. anybody have one? thanks
I've got a whole Auto Drivetrain leftover from when I converted my Legacy to 5mt. What are you all looking for, just tranny?
just the trans if it has the correct final drive for my rear diff and will work with my existing trans control unit. what year legacy is yours? how many miles? otherwise i would need everything from the engine back and the TCU. thanks.
Its out of my 1992 legacy SS. Not sure of the ratio off the top of my head, but I can find out. I'm sure fuji would know haha. Exact mileage is unknown, my car had 169k miles on it when it was swapped out, but the previous owner had this one installed under warranty by a Subaru Dealership, so the tranny mileage is obviously less. I can try to fnd out when it was done, I bought the car almost 2 years ago but should have the info somewhere. Bryan
i have been told by a subaru mechanic that the 90-94 EAT is just different enought hat it would not work in my car. the problem lies in the switch to OBDII in 95. thanks for the offer.
I have a 03' WRX 4EAT and ill give you the TCU with it, has a modded valve body and 3,300 stall converter. 93,000 miles 2K.
i should have said that i need one for cheap. like 350 or less. and that it is for the family truckster.
