I know and agree but I'm trying to save all my stock bits as-is in the event I ever need to return the vehicle to bone stock.

I would find a stock one to chop up. I had one customer who tried different after market heat shields. They all rattled.

How much does a heat shield help if the car isn't in stop and go?

I know I probably should have one, but I have been running without a heat shield on my 16g for quite a while now, and I can't imagine that just a heat shield is going to make it pull that much harder where it is worth it. I just feel like the difference in performance that it would make, isn't worth the money. $50 or so dollars might not be worth it at that point. Money better spend else where.

    .... bushings for your suspension?

I thought a stock cut one would fit over a 16g? No?
