Looking for some all seasons with good tread in 205/55-16. Also open to wheel/tire combos in equivalent diameter sizes.
How soon do you need them? I have my eyes open for snow tires in the same size and I'd be putting those on my stock wheels. Current tires are Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grids with good tread, but I wouldn't swap them out for a month or so.
Hey, fellow choral singer. Are you in the Singers this year? Didn't see you last Friday. Anyway, as long as I have them before the snow flies, that'd be fine.
Yeah, I'm just singing a few projects this year and the last concert wasn't one of them. My friend Heather joined your group singing soprano this year, though, so you might have seen her around -- dark brown hair, 5'4"ish but she always wears heels to conceal her lack of height. As for the tires, you might have a deal my friend. I'm hot on the trail of some 205 55 16 iPikes, and should have them in the next couple days if all goes well.
Sounds good if there is plenty of life in the Potenzas. Do you happen to have a pic or two of the tread? Heather. Hmmm. First Soprano? (haven't memorized the names of the new members yet)
Yeah, there should be some good life left. I just bought them brand new in May of '09. I don't have pictures of the tread, but I'll try to get some reference pics up soon. I actually don't know if she's singing first or second. You could just ask each of the sopranos if they know me, and that would narrow it down. There would probably be a couple from St. Olaf that might recognize my name, but none that I keep in touch with regularly. I'll tell her to look for a baritone (right?) who drives a Subaru wagon.
Actually, tell her to look for the bald Baritone (shaven). I'm driving the Miata pretty much daily now until the salt flies. PM me your last name. (sorry, don't recall) That should help when I ask her if she knows you. So the tires are only a year and a half old. Well, unless you drive like a complete loon, they should have decent tread left.
