Unfortunatley i'm still running on my RE070's atm... bald RE070's too. they are so bad that the steel belts are showing on the inside of the tires. amazingly enough i have managed not to crash it yet. Anybody have a sweet deal on some tires that will get me by until spring.

the general upshot is you need to get suitable tires on that car ASAP. I wouldn't even feel comfortable driving those even so far as to the tire dealership, but for the love of god get some new tires before you kill yourself!

I think in MN, there is really no difference between summer and winter... for most of the people...

Im curious- are the steel belts rusting due to the salt?

Take the 512's, they aren't horrible in snow, but not great either. The price is good.

I have the 512's for all seasons...they work just fine. Like someone said before, not great, but they'll get you around in the snow...unlike the 070's. I suppose our snowfall hasn't really been a factor until now.

Its not just snow it's the cold. When it was 40 degrees out I was sliding all over the place. Those things are like pucks in the cold.

oh yea i have no power steering either, broken pitch mount, and my rear diff goes clunk clunk clunk everytime i take off from a dead stop. boost gauge doesnt work again... line is cut from the motor bouncing around in the engine bay. i should have kept my 04, this 06 is driving me nutty.

How the hell do you end up breaking that much stuff in less than a year?

    Especially cording tires.

This one may be nutty but I think your 04 needed a new engine and tranny shortly after you got rid of it. I think its time you start driving a bulldozer or something.

06's are notorious for having the weaker pitch mounts, power steering i dont know what the hell happened with that. and the rear diff is known for having a nasty clunk noise too.

ksal, i may be getting in touch with you soon for the falken's.
