Also any stock bbs and tires form 05 06 STi
the 15 inch ones I have laying around won't work.. but I can suggest Compomotive or Speedline http://www.compomotive.com/ http://www.speedlinecorse.co.uk/info/index.htm Also, Team Dynamics rally wheels, which are a fair bit less expensive than the Compos, and somewhat less than the Speedlines. This per several people at Special Stage and Nasioc. they also clear 4 pots and wrx brakes
i dunno ill sell you everything i got except for the stock catback. which is stock downpipe/ i have an aftermarket HKS downpipe, stock up pipe/Gt spec up pipe, stock headers all just lyin around takin up space, all of which are off of an 04 STi
I assume they will all fit my 06 STi? If so shoot me a price. Im not looking to spend a whole lot so keep that in mind. My first priority is the brakes and 15 inch tires for an upcoming rallycross. then i will tackle the rest unless i get some sweet deals.
Are you planning to go stage rallying with this car? If so, do you have prior stage rally experience? if not, be aware that all new drivers in Rally America events must qualify for a full competiton license by competing in a number of rallies in a 2WD non-turbo car. Until you have a full comp license, you will not be able to run your STi. Before you spend time and money feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help you understand what it takes to get started in stage rally. I will have LOTS of information on what I did wrong when I got started and they are not uncommon errors. If your goal is RallyCross, COOL! You can run whatever safe vehicle you want in RallyCross. PM me if you want to talk and I will give you my phone number as it is WAY too much for me to type. Welcome to the asylum.
for the hella lights check out rallylights. we get a deal through them if you mention your are part of mnsubaru. i think its 10%.
If you are serious about participating in stage rally, go to: http://www.specialstage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7838 And read the whole thread. Then go to: http://rally-america.com/rules.php And download the rulebook and all the bulletins Then talk to Mark "Mayhem83" Utecht. For the upcoming RallyCross, you do not need to change your brakes, wheels or even tires. RallyCross is designed for street vehicles, and if you remain stock, you will be competing against other people with stock or similar tires. At the last rallycross, Mikie "LegacyPGT" Wray ran on, I belive, the same tires he ran at the Austin Healy Hillclimb the day before, which were fairly aggressive asphalt tires, not anything intended for gravel/dirt. The overall winner was, in fact on rally tires, but the #2 overall car was on a set of Nokian Hakka RSi snow tires. And the car on the snows probably would have won overall if not for one little mistake (lost by 1.83 sec cumulative over the entire day). I'll let Mayhem83 explain that one So just bring it as it stands, you'll be classed against similar cars. And most MN rally discussion happens on the Rally-MN Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rally-mn/
I have a stock, slightly damaged front bumper cover (perfectly usable for rally) you can have for free if you come and get it. It is for an 04 STi in WRB. I will not deliver it anywhere. You need to come and get it. I hope you understand.
15" wheels/tires are gonna cost you Big Buxx. Google Fastline. do a 4-Pot setup, and find yourself some 16x7" wheels to clear them. it'll be a little tricky with your 5x114 bolt pattern. 04 STI guys can use RS wheels and WRX rotors, and 4 pots. The tricky part is going to be the rotors. you'll have to find something in stock WRX size, with a 5x114 pattern. i'd call racing brake. i'm sure they could set you up with some 2-peice rotors with the proper dimensions. but again, be prepared to pay BIG BUXX. honestly, with all this work, you'd probably pay less to get a cheap set of 17"s and a set of rally tires for them (they ARE available). your probably looking at upwards of $1200. but 4 pots are $500, racing brake 2 peice rotors are $350 EACH, another set of wheels for $5-700, and again tires.. even if you DO sell off your stock bits, your at about the same out of pocket investment.
