Fairly self explanatory. LGT is down for at least a couple months due to engine failure, minimum. Looking for reliability above all else, auto preferred. Watchagot?
A guy at work has a beater Honda he is going to be putting up for sale. It's rough looking but I think he is only looking for $500.00. I can get you more info if you like.
Awesome, yes I'm interested. I'm unconcerned with appearance or performance so long as it's mechanically sound and safe enough to shuttle around my five year old.
Dude, get that blue 99RS that's up for sale. I know it isn't an auto, but that'd be fun once the LGT is fixed as a winter toy.
Super tempting. I can't see squeezing my kid in the back for very long though. That 2.2t that just sold was dangerously tempting too.
I am selling our Prizm. It is a 5 spd but has been super reliable. I'd take $1500 for it. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/cto/3618836295.html
I was going to post up a Legacy Outback that looked good, but it sold. I was e-mailing back and forth with the guy today at work so I'd have some more info for ya.
I was trying to get my friend to buy this car but his mom said he cant sell his truck to buy it since she bought it for him (95 Chevy C1500...rwd v6 POS truck) Did I mention the guy is 21 ha! If I didn't have 4 cars I would've swiped that in a heartbeat for a winter beater!
Well what do you want to know? It is my wifes car that she has had since 2007. Always maintained with synthetic oil since she has owned it. We have done brakes and tires within the last 2 years. AC doesn't work and the check engine light was on for EVAP since she has owned it. Manual everything. It does have CD player. It is slow as molasses and gets 35 MPG on the highway. It's about what you would expect for a $1500 car. We drive it every day and always starts in -12 degree weather. Honestly we are only getting rid of it since we picked up the Outback and we have no need for 3 cars for two people who take the bus to work. Let me know if you want to meet to take it for a drive.
You probably saw these already but if not what about these, looks good. Not sure if they're still available though http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ctd/3619458224.html http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/cto/3622003334.html http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/3619930617.html Thought you found one by now, good luck, many cars to choose from with 3k
Possibly interested. Clutch isn't ideal since the wife would be driving it often and she prefers auto at this point. Not super enthusiastic about buying a car with a CEL either. Have you ruled out a simple gas cap as the fix? I have a word in to a couple of those. I was hoping to find something quickly. There are a lot of listings that look kind of promising. Problem is most of them are omitting rather important details and/or outright liars. Almost all inquiries are totally shut down the second I ask about head gasket, timing belt and water pump. The stragglers are killed off by making the sale contingent upon an inspection and documentation of all the amazing work they claim to have had done recently. CL jerkbags are threatening my positive vibe.
Morries: I would imagine this would last a couple months at the very least. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ListingId=337650754&listingId=339587700&Log=0
