Nothing to speak of on craigslist. I would try an estate sale that includes garage items or a farm sale...farmers have at least a dozen vises (kind of like phi11). This is what I have (not a Yost, but a cheap knock-off) and the versatility is great. Spend a little for a nice one and it will be something you will use for the rest of your life. http://www.sears.com/yost-750-5inch...x000001&kpid=00923118000P&kispla=00923118000P
Yea definitely don't want to cheap out. Been scanning Craigslist, but they're sparse. Something may come up, I'm in no hurry.
Ditto I have been watching CL for a couple of months on and off and there has been a couple of older Reeds and a Wilton 800 I would have paid a small fortune for, but were gone in minutes. Not much recently. I have broken too many newer made in some other country vises over the years. Now I am looking for some decades old American iron like Wilton, Reed, Columbian, Morgan, ect
