I sold my car last week. We don’t need 2 cars right now anyways as we are just sitting at home, so... I’m looking to see if anyone out there has been “looking to get out of the game” or has been considering selling as they don’t drive it anymore or whatever. I see a few decent cars out there, but they are few and far between. And now is a time where I can be extremely picky. I’m looking at bugeyes, STI, M3, M5, Evos, from $5k to $30k. My optimal car would be a super clean bugeye. I’m eying one about 300 miles away for $8,000 right now that isn’t selling (it’s off market pretty much, but the guy will sell for full asking). I’d like something local if there’s anything out there.

But then you don’t get to drive it home 300 miles!?

Thank you for posting! I’m looking for options. This probably wouldn’t be what I’m looking for for quite a few reasons though. If it’s a 2 door it’s not an option.

Believe it or not, I've actually been thinking about selling my bugeye. I've had it almost 10 years and put a lot into it, but almost never drive it. I love it but at this point it makes no sense for me to have it. Don't know if you have any interest in one that's been modified and I'm really not sure what a fair price would be for it, but let me know if you'd like more info. Otherwise good luck in the search. After scouring the country for something very special I did find something. Next week I will be heading to lovely Tampa, FL and making the long drive back in what should be a long term car for me. I wanted something that I could bring to car meetups like Cars and Coffee and not feel out of place. I'm extremely excited! I could not convince pleiades to part with his beautiful bugeye :) More news to come.

So you decided to get an interesting car INSTEAD of a bugeye?

    Good choice!

"Interesting" is always the word my wife and I use to describe something or someone when we can't come up with a complimentary word.
