Ok, so I have been asked to build a system for a completly original 72 Chevy Truck.....I've been given an allowance of ABOUT $750 but I can't drill holes or cut the dash so the headunit just set us back about $500

So, I now need to build the rest of it for about $250.

    I need 2 amplifiers or a 5 channel amp
    front speakers
    rear speakers
    sub

Let me know what you have, it's history and how much you will let it go for.

What size have you got? I'm open to option.....since we do not intend to use a mono system like the oem...I'm really open to ideas as I will be fabbing up fibreglass boxes for the front kick panels and behind the seats.

lol good luck. you cant get a decent amp for $250, let alone speakers and a subwoofer. sounds like you spent too much on the head unit.

You can get plenty of good amps for $250. You just don't buy retail or at best buy.

I have some stuff I'd be willing to part with...

I have some Cadence CWM set of components.

6.5" aluminum cone, 1" silk dome tweeters so it's a neutral but still a bit lively for silk. Yet not as bright sounding as aluminum domes.

These are brand new, sorta:) My brother had a set in his Trooper and they sounded great. So i picked up a set for myself. Had them for over a year but never installed them... I'm lazy. That and I never bought any sound deadener.

I also have an Orion 2002 amp that is matched great for these. The final load should be 4ohm with these speakers. So 50w rms per channel. It would fit nicely under the front seat. That was my plans anyway...

    I'd sell for $200

lol sounds like angusracer hasn't really looked.

Dizmal, how much for the speakers alone. I have at my disposasl a 4x75wrms @ 4ohm amp that I can use but I'm defintly interested in the components.
