Hi all, my timing belt went this past wednesday and my engine is shot. I got the car back to my house. I'm looking for a cheap car to get me through the rest of this year or a working longblock as I don't have the time to rebuild. I do have a budget in mind for this but let me know what you have. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
How lucky for you my 81 305 csr was totaled today. I'm going to buy it back from insurance as the damage is only cosmetic, the only required fix is the front right turn signal. No mechanical damage (it got dropped at 5-10 mph turn in gravel), I was planning on fixing it myself and reselling at the end of the year. If you're at all handy or interested, the bike could be yours for under 750. I'll know more later today. PM me if interested....
