i need a cheap newer laptop asap for the shop. looking for something under 400. i just need it to be able to surf the net and use microsoft word programs. Justin
I have an alienware sentia m3200 laptop thats a year old, great condition, small ding in the case (kinda split on one side, works fin) and one of the 3 usb ports broke so I am willing to make a deal on it, however its still going to be a little above your price range ($1200 new, this one is slightly more than a year old). I'd part with it for $750. its not the quietest laptop on earth but it is very nice. probably the nicest screen i've ever had, lots of ram (1.2gb) and is pretty nice overall. I had to switch to a mac for school so unsure if I need it anymore, can probably afford to get rid of it or else i'll just end up using it as a tuning/datalogging only laptop. I might be able to dig up something cheaper but it would take me a few days.
a 750 is out of my price range for what i need this for. if you could dig up something else that woud be killer
I will ask a Computer geek I know who rebuilds them etc... see if he has any or knows of any..may not be as new as you want but more than capable... will see him tomorrow evening...
