wtb: cigarette lighter outlet for 99rs

well, when i got my rs, i came to found out that the cigarette lighter outlet isn't working and so i will need a working one for my phone charger:biggrin:

any hookups?

 

Just to make sure before you spend any money. Did you check the connector at the back of the outlet? Make sure it didn't come loose or something.

i mostly need it for my phone charger...my power charger broke on me...and hada get a new one(19.99) and im like....if only the cig outlet worked.....lol

Same thing happened to mine found out that on the back of the socket itself the solder and came apart... I was able to solder in a new piece and make it work again... New one is 40 bucks without a green name.

 

no one has any lying around?...

 

You can buy outlets from NAPA or Checker, I added 2 to my cars for all my stuff.

 

i meant the stock cig lighter thing

 

do the power side rearview mirrors work? my lighter was not working and it was just the fuse #4 in the coin compartment.

 

umm it was working(while the cig lighter wasnt working) and not its stopped working...ill check the fuse when i get the chance to..
