i would strongly advise to go with a nice spring/strut combo or softer spring rates on coilovers.

    Pfff what do you know.

j/k Why coil overs? Unless it is a track car.

if you are bent on coilovers, get some megans or something i guess, like i said, i warn you to get lower spring rates.

personally, if you need to adjust ride height for some reason, ground control sleeves are the way to go

i like the fact that you could adjust height, but man the ones that are on right now are just to bouncy.

I agree with Curly. A guy at my work has coilovers in his Jetta and they suck bad. I could not drive the car like that. And thats coming from a guy who wanted coil overs

What type of driving do you do, and what ride quality are you looking for? Coilovers, good ones, are race parts. You are not going to ride over pot holes and enjoy life for very long. If you are interested in yanking around corners and have your suspension handle what ever you can throw at it... then you want them.

I really liked my DMS 40mm coil overs for DD at first, then the car became more autox specific, but I sold them last week.

If you want a smooth ride and just want to lower the car, get a set of KYB AGX's and a Ground Control coil over setup so you can change the spring rates and lower the car. I'd go with 225F/250R lb/in springs that are 7 inches long for great handling and a good ride.

coilovers are for cars that race. The height adjustibility is a side effect for sure, but way too often people put them on non race cars solely so the height can be adjusted, which is not a great idea IMO.

The same people often care about bounciness or ride quality too. The ride quality sucks, and if if doesn't then its probably terribly underdamped and undesprung.

jsut get some new struts and lowering springs, save yourself the money and hassle. If you aren't going to corner weight the car (I don't think that you are) then you are losing the one great advantage they have anyways
