[WTB]DOHC 2.5L engine,

    [WTB]DOHC 2.5L engine,(actually any engine,)

    Like the title says,
    basically i need one of the following, 2.2L/2.5/22t[with harness and acc]
    Im looking for a GOOD, short block at the least, I have good heads and what not,
    had a bearing spin on my legacy.
    will be going in a 1995 legacy L, awd 5 speed
    as all of us are, money is tight, so let me know what you have,

    don't buy anything too cheap,
    I picked up a $40 block, and it had a spun bearing,
    now I have two bad cranks and two good blocks.

    I always wanted to do the 2.5 V6 swap to mine. But i was to much of a n00b with the car.

    I know someone might have an engine for you. It came out of a '98 Legacy 2.5GT. It has overheating issues. This means.... HG. I replaced the engine with a JDM EJ25D longblock (turbo style water pump) and they may still have that long block for sale. It just has a broke exhaust stud on ONE head. It can us a rebuild.

    I rebuilt my Dad's '98 EJ25D on the Outback twice. The second time I just refreshed the whole thing; new rings, rehoned, ACL Race bearings, redecked the block, resurfaced the heads, gaskets, seals, etc. Now I can go WOT without worrying about overheating.

    ... I may have found a lead on a free one, a guy i used to work for has one, needed valves, so we will see.
