I know its a long shot but I'm looking for this tire with about 3-4k miles on it. I had one of my tires bulge and I don't really want to spend another $1200 on tires!
No need for 1..... I'd need 3 of these SHi**y tires. 3 of my 4 tires had MASSIVE bulging after only about 5k miles of use. Never stored with weight on the tires, in a heated/insulated garage. I'm quite disappointed with these, performance was good but 1200-1300 for 5k of mostly street use and probably 40 passes at the strip.
Well now I know to not be like the rest of the pack and avoid them, lol. Hopefully you can find decent replacements.
I have had zero issues with mine. That includes a day at BIR, summer driving and storing them in my garage. OP, sorry about the bad luck.
I'm gonna assume he drives a lot more aggressively than you do. Regardless I have certain tires brands I prefer and Dunlop is not one of them.
Ended up picking up 4 265/35/18 Continental ExtremeContact DW's. I don't want to steer people away, but I'm just blown away that they didn't even make it halfway though their life, and not just 1 but 3!! I will post some pictures of the carnage later, my tire guy was like "did you hit any major potholes or anything?" I thought about it, my car usually doesn't hit the road until Late april or into May which they usually have all the big holes fixed and patched. Plus when I do see them on the road I avoid them like the plague.
