WTB: Forester or Outback Transmission

    Would like to get my 99 forester back up and running for the winter. Looking at a transmission chart Looks like forester 98-08 (no turbo) would work or outback 99-00 and 03-05. Looking for a FD of 4.11.

    Didn't see your message til now. I ended up picking a 98 forrester tranny for $300 up in bemidji. Just pouring in the gear oil.... takes awhile with the freezing weather. Hopefully I'll drive it around tonight!!
