This is for a co-worker's daughter. I've searched dealership online inventories and some local listings, but not quite coming up with what I was hoping for (2003ish Forester at a local dealership for around $7k). Wondering if anyone local has something for sale, or knows of a good deal that meets the following criteria. If you have any non-Subaru suggestions that fit this description (4Runner, Pilot, etc...), please let me know also. Criteria: 1) Color: doesn't matter 2) Mileage: doesn't matter in the sense that a high mileage car with proper maintenance would be equally considered compared to a low mileage car that was neglected. 3) Condition: Mechanically sound. No fixer-uppers. 4) Transmission: auto 5) Price: Around $7k 6) Cargo room: Must be in the Forester/wagon range or slightly bigger. Needs to be able to haul a folding wheelchair and a couple duffel bag's worth of gear on a daily basis. 7) Location: Prefer metro area Thanks in advance!
