My inner right boot is cracked open and the left is leaking grease so I don't think it'll be possible to reboot it and apparently aftermarket axles are crap so I'm trying to find used OEM. Anyone happen to have a couple of these? My car is a 2005 Saab 9-2x AT.

Front axles from these should fit:

IMPREZA 04; Sdn (4 Dr), exc. STi; AT, from 09/01/03
    IMPREZA 05; Sdn (4 Dr), 2.5L, RS
IMPREZA 05; SW (5 Dr), 2.0L (WRX), AT
    IMPREZA 05; SW (5 Dr), 2.5L, Outback
    IMPREZA 05; SW (5 Dr), 2.5L, RS
IMPREZA 05; Sdn (4 Dr), 2.0L (WRX), AT
IMPREZA 06; (2.5L), Sdn, WRX, AT
    IMPREZA 06; (2.5L), Sdn, Base
    SAAB 9-2X 05; 2.0L, AT
    SAAB 9-2X 05; 2.5L

After reading around it looks like the sedan versions are not the same lengths as the wagon so I'm not sure why the list includes sedans

If it's not making noise get the boot kits...clean em up and re-grease.

I don't hear anything yet but I think the boot has been split open for a while now, possibly months. I'm gonna check out some axles tomorrow which are pretty cheap. If those aren't in good condition I'll probably end up having it rebooted.

Well I just got 2 axles with 60k miles on them for the same price as 2 boot kits so I will keep the old axles as a back up and reboot them if they're good.
