I was putting on new front pads today and one of the pins on the caliper bracket has seized. I need a new bracket for the driver's side.

If anyone has one, let me know. Otherwise I'll have to go to the dealer.

you dont need a new one... get a torch (oxy-acetyline sp?) and heat the surrounding area cherry red... then with some vice-grips.. twist back and forth gently, working its way out of the caliper bracket... then you will need to get a drill bit (once cooled down) and clean out the inside of the slide hole... this is why we do slide services with every brake job.. make sure you put some brake grease back in there once done...

It worked! Man, it made a gunshot noise when it came out too. Thank you Nate! Now, I just need a new rubber boot for it.

no probs man... glad it worked... sometimes the pin breaks... but glad it came out... should have told you to pull the rubber boot off if you could... ha ha but sometimes they just dont come off...

    $5 rubber boot > $100+ caliper/bracket ftw
