I managed to shear off a 14mm bolt on the slider that attaches the caliper to the caliper bracket. I need mainly just the slider or the slider and the bolt. Let me know what you've got or where I can find such a thing.
Been there, done that. Did it break off flush or is some sticking out? I lucked out and had a little stub. I flattened the sides, heated it up, and wrenched it out.... slowly.
it broke off flush. tried drilling it out, no luck, just 2 broken drill bits. tried hammering a torx bit in the drilled hole, the bit shattered that into pieces when i tried turning it out. I suppose I could get a bolt extractor from menards. at this point I'm ready to give up and just get a new slider.
how different are these from an older 2.5 rs? since i have a set from those, just unsure if they are even close to the same.
it's probably the same as a 2.5RS. I'm going to search around town after work to see if I can find one at an autoparts store.
Well I guess Autozone carries these. So I got them and they fit perfect. Crisis averted. Mods can delete.
