WTB: Front cam cap bolts for ej20

    I need the two bolts that hold the front cam cap on. I think all the front ones are the same, but if not, the driver's side exhaust front cap (the cap that also holds the cam seal). I stretched and almost broke two of them, so I don't trust running them. If you have two that are in good cond let me know, I'd like to get them asap. Thanks.

    They are the same, I just had to buy some from the dealer and they were dirt cheap and in stock.

    I despise those bolts. You are talking about the ones that you Tq to 7.5ft/lbs instead of 14ft/ls right?

    Correct, those are the ones. But i couldn't even get 7 ft/lbs on these. I dunno, I thought I had everything clean, but maybe there was some oil on them that screwed up the torque reading....

    Yea after breaking one off because of the WRONG TORQUE SPECS from the Subaru manual I have, I won't ever torque these past 8ft/lbs.
