I am looking to see if anyone is looking to get rid of a full 3" WRX/STi exhaust. Must have a 3" flange on the front of the mid pipe to meet up with the down pipe. Would prefer an exhaust that is not the angled at the rear muffler section, and rather that it follows the stock exhaust path and not the angled type. -Matt
wrxboy2003 can hook you up with a custom build. that is what I have. I can see if I have pics to post up later..
Cool, thanks for the responses guys, what I have right now is a Helix DP, and a 2.5" mid pipe with a 3" custom axleback with a Blitz Nurspec Muffler. I love the sound of the Blitz, and how it looks, just don't want anything with a small tip or a humongous one at that rate either.
^^^ SPT is sexy! I just installed my SPT a couple weeks ago and love it! Nice rumble and rasp for sound, but also pretty mild compared to some others... Also fits perfectly with the stock look and set-up! No mellon shooters here!!! :eek4: I can post pics too, if you're curious on how it looks...
Ummm, doesn't the SPT catback have a donut type flange? This guy is looking for a flat flange catback.
I installed the SPT cat-back with midpipe directly to my Invidia bellmouth downpipe... Nothing required but tools and my 3" exhaust gaskets.... Not an expert though... Everything matched up perfectly!!!
Hehehe, that's a pretty good deal considering that your Borla is nearly twice the price new of a Prodrive muffler. http://www.oakos.com/Merchant2/merc...355&Product_Code=PRDSE062SU&Category_Code=220 http://www.oakos.com/Merchant2/merc...=355&Product_Code=BOR140075&Category_Code=220
There's really no need for a 3" axelback unless you are making Fobia power. I've yet to hear of anyone claim that their Prodrive was a restriction on their setup.
No but the 3" mid-pipe to 2.5" axle back has to create some flow issues. Maybe not power robbing, but it will change the flow. Either way, the Prodrive sounds good, and looks hot with the oval tip.
