wtb: g35

    as some of you know i totalled my wrx.

    rather than getting a direct replacement for myself i was able to talk my girlfriend into upping the timetable for her own newer car purchase. She is pretty much dead set on a 2003-2005 g35 or g35x in black or other dark color. This will allow me to drive her bomb a$$ olds silhouette for the remainder of the winter and then help her sell it in the spring. I don't really need an extra car sitting around all summer anyways just for myself as i already have a couple "extras". I'll be able to put more money into my C43 build sooner AND get another nice (wrx, s4?) winter beater come next fall.

    she is looking for a car with between 30-50k miles.

    anyone know of a nice example for sale?

    do you still have the wrx's complete drivetrain?

    also, there was one in Eau Claire for $25k with 60k miles..

    yea g35

    yea go for an 04 model because the 03 got to many recall and the 05+ comsume oil but more hp but least tq.

    only parts that are really wrecked are the vis hood and the rest of the front end.

    I will explore the option of buying it back, but it's in colorado (which is why i didn't swap all the parts back to stock right away)

    if people are interested in parts i may be able to work out buying it back and getting it shipped here etc.- but would probably want money down on parts to cover some of the cost. It probably won't be worth it overall.

    if i didn't have my fi project mercedes i would definitely get it sent back here and build the motor/drivetrain for a swap into something older and ligher

    They're kinda rice-boy drifting-my-"Sylvia"-Yo!, but I think there are several guys with Gs on there.

    If I was looking for a G35x (oh, wait, I am), I'd look at carsoup.com and autotrader.com and get a CARFAX account (because 75% of everything on carsoup seems to be salvage titles....). Run 'em all through CARFAX and then go test drive the ones that look good on paper.

    Sorry to hear that your wrx is gone now:(

    isnt Cobb coming out with a AP for a 350z? Should work with g35!?
    btw, so the sub thing will not work out any more.

    we can still do it as soon as i get this sorted- however, i won't be doing one for myself...
