Looking for a GC body style, 2 door with a manual transmission for an upcoming project. If it sways anyone further to sell theirs, they can keep the engine if wanted, as it won't be needing it . Hopefully one for $3,000 or less, miles aren't a big deal, and neither is year. Please keep me in mind if you see anything pop up, Thanks!
I know someone who might have a 2 door coupe AT for sale in that range soon. Finding a coupe in that range is going to be difficult, as you're lookig for one of the more rare subarus. Some people have to drive some pretty long distances to get MT coupe RS's in good shape. If you'rer thinkig about ever swapping it(seems like you are) keep in mind it wont mater what tranny is already in there anyways, since no NA sbaru tranny is really up to the job of holding the power from a turbo engine. (yes sam, i know you have an RS tranny, I just think its a ticking time bomb...) =)
You know he is on his 3rd tranny right? He lost two when he was N/A :lol: . To be honest, I'm surprised the current one has lasted this long, I give credit to the winter and slippery conditions
Yea i'm not too worried about the tranny, i'm expecting it to be very high milage when I start anyways, but i've rebuilt 3 MT transmission so far and it's a fun time, haha yea not too hard, so I was planning on doing a rebuild soon anyways when I get it, it'll be able to hold the power when we get done with it.
Forgot to mention that if I find one for around 2 grand I wouldn't mind having it shipped cross country, I already have prices for coast to coast and their not too bad. $700 coast to coast!
