Do most GM parts dealers stock these, and the necessary pigtails?
If not where should I look first?

 

yeah, most do and pigtails are a must

Here's the GM part numbers, if you're looking at a ACDelco or GM.

GM boost solenoid for Typhoon, GM Part # 1997152
Pigtails, GM Part # 12102747

 

if you can get some wires into the solenoid, then you won't need the pigtail :biggrin:
but to make things easier and cleaner, get the pigtail.

Shibbs is all out of them but I got my parts at a dealership for only 50 bucks.

 

RS Motors might have some...

 

Just go to the local GM place. They got one in one day for me.

 

How soon do you need it? My brother in law has one he is not using and looking to get rid of. I believe he has the pigtails as well as he made two purchases coming to a total of like $48 bucks plus shipping online. Brand new!!! i can pick it up and drop if off depending on where you live or at firestone. Let me know....Pm me if interested and for more details.

Dealership would be your best bet then. I got mine 3 hours after i called. They had one brought to them from a different location.
