WTB: I need a car

Hi,

This is my first thread and a good one. I am looking for a 98-01 2.5RS. I want a Coupe and manual with under 130k. Really don't care what color, but I prefer blue. Looking to spend under $6500.

 

Good luck! people who have these are not willing to part with them, especially for under $6500 I'll keep an eye out though, theres an 01 coupe 5speed in the Duluth paper for $12,000 and it has around 50k miles I think.

 

word, GCs are heavilly loved, you will pry the keys out my cold dead hand...i know matt (bikerboy) recently got a steal!

 

I wish I had 12k. I just got a decent paying summer job. Going to get a loan from my mom so I don't want my mom to get my paychecks for a long time.

 

It'll take more than a summer job to pay for a car of that value. There aren't very many 5MT coupes for sale... but one will turn up eventually. If you miss an RS even by a day or two, the car's considered sold already. I know that by experience.

 

But the majority of coupes are manual anyway so they aren't hard to find. just gotta travel.

 

Right now I have 4 grand and make 1500 a month with no expenses.

 

I'm frequently making trips to and from duluth and the cities, if you find one down there, I'm sure we can work out a cheap delivery, or I could give you a ride to it.....etc.
