Need some 02-07 Impreza wagon axles. I need all 4, and they all need to be male/male.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure all 02-07 REARS are male/male

But fronts I think changed in MY05 from male/female to male/male.

Like this, these are stock 2006 5MT Forester Axles:

    ROCKAUTO.com

Do yourself a favor and if you are going to buy axles, buy new.

Are these OEM replacements? I read some pretty bad reviews about some rebuilders.

I have heard mixed reviews too but you can go on Nasioc and see which ones are best.

The only reason why someone would pull axles is to replace them (you probably dont want these) or from a part out (COULD need to be replaced in short order, meaning you would have to rebuy).

I suppose you're right, often I find them after 6mt swaps too.

A1 cardone (available at rockauto.com) were the ones that everyone recommends. I've personally had good luck with them as a replacement.

I'd heard good things about the EMPI brand axles too so I went with those when I needed them for my lifted '00 OBS (from partsgeek.com). Less than 3000 miles and the pass side boot is torn and starting to click when making sharp turns...I guess I'll be finding out how good their warranty is.

Of course, those are front axles that I've had experience with. Rears obviously don't see as much stress so you'd probably be fine with any brand really. Although, nothing compares to OEM parts, but those are quite spendy brand new!
