Ok i know this is a really big shot in the dark but after the fall run 2 years ago:roll: i was looking for something to get besides the stock front and rear bumper. I looked through all the kits and stuff and the only one i REALLY liked was the INGS+1 kit. However i obviosly didnt go with that one i just replaced with the stock front and rear ones. Im now kinda looking to get some stylin for the STi however i don;t wanna spend $2,300. So my ? is....... Does anybody have the hook-up on getting this kit for any cheaper than $2,300?? Also kinda liked the chargespeed wrx/sti bodykit v.1. Thoughts on that one?
HAHAH i like that. im going to eat rice all summer!!!! yum yum yum. you think think that kit is dumb or what??
not a fan.... the only kit i would do is that wide body kit thats on ken blocks car. that way you could benefit by big fat slicks.
Ok that ones pretty cool too. But that one would probably cost 5K or sumn crazy like that. How would you even figure out what kit it is??
I did a little looking at that widebody kit and the onlly thing i found was one by APR and it came with all the fenders and doors and stuff but it was almost 4K i think!! WAY to much. Unless i sell the tahoe!!
i like the apr one. if i were to ever get a body kit it would be the apr one forsure!! http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop/apr-0405-wrx-sti-wide-body-kit-p-2257.html
Found this on Ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-0...007QQitemZ170208075960QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
APR and be done with it. My policy is that the only body kit that should go on a car is one that lets you run wider tires/wheels. All others are a waste of time and money.

get ready to sand. and sand. and sand. i spent close to 15 hours sanding a replica ebay kit like that to get it to fit right (but after that it fit great! lol)
luckily mine looked really good after I had worked on it for 2 entire days (the front bumper did have a few thin spots in the fiberglass but wasn't noticeable with paint
go for it ksal..that looks much better then apr one and its not overkill.. dont let any of these "ricer" or "waste of money" comments change ur mind..
lol...Matt, if u want to see the ings (replica) kit I have it...and believe me, you do not want to go cheap on the kit...FITMENT is a big issue...After all the crap to get it to fit the cost to benefit...I ended up spending the same amount as the original, so I should have just bought the original to begin...We basically made the replica into a ings kit, lol.
lol..yes, I'm still swimming (barely), just got the car running again with Idget's help Just fired it up tonight after 8 months of storage, talk about flat spots on the tires...lol
Thanks ray! I know all about the fitment stuff. I had to fit numerous kits that kids bought for "cheap" and they all SUCKED!!! I now kinda wish i still worked at soundwaves becuase i could do all the glassing and sanding and everything there on the side and make it fit PERFECT. Arg. Well im still thinkin about it i deff. wouldn't go cheapo after thinging bout the time it took me to fit everyone else's stuff. Thanks for all the feedback guys.
The kit didn't weigh a whole lot...maybe 30lbs more than stock overall...F&R bumper and sideskirts. In my case the weight was the tires, brakes & rotors, and audio crap...those added about 300 lbs. over stock...
found that wide body kit! and yes it is expensive but now you know what to look for for deals. its the l'aunsport wide body kit.or if you don't want wide body the company burn-up has the same looking bumper which you can find on the first page of the link http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php
